I really don’t like people who add all the comments under their images how it’s not for re-use, re-distribution, copyright, bla-bla, wah-wah-cry. For a start anyone who is going to rip it off isn’t going to read all that, second they probably don’t care anyway (oh-no, words! We’d better go straight!), and third the people who add the warnings usually have the crappest stuff that no-one would want to steal (like a picture of their only friend, their cat, or both).

I like when people steal my stuff. It’s enjoyable to find stuff on the web that I made and someone else has re-posted, not as enjoyable as a roller-coaster, but enjoyable like an advert you laugh at [link]
I would like it if people stole my stuff and altered it to look better, but so far the only ones to alter my stuff have been partially blind emus using the Windows 95 version of Paint. I hate it when the emus make my stuff look worse.

What’s even more stupid is people who stick ‘watermarks’ all over their images, making it unappealing to look at. Even in the corner is distracting, and kind of pointless. I used to put a signature on images, until I realised the people that stole my stuff were just painting over the signature anyway. And truth be told I can easily remove any watermark I see if I want to.
Here’s an idea, if you seriously don’t want your images to be stolen, don’t stick them on the Internet. By now you should know how the Internet works, so keep your misunderstood artistic emissions safe where no-one can see. Trying to police or control the Internet to get your stolen stuff back is next to impossible anyway, and did you consider that people who speak other languages can’t read your shitty warnings?

After I realised my signatures were being removed I drew a logo for my stuff, and soon after I started using it I realised it was fun to hide it in the image (like the bunny logo on every cover of Playboy). Regular viewers can play ‘Where’s Max?’ But the logo was of someone else’s character who was not in use, and when new publications started I stopped using it.

Eventually I have gotten on my arse and drawn up some new logos [link] , and if you want to cast your vote, one of them will start appearing (hidden) in my new images! (and you thought your life was dull)
